Welcome to the Bureau of Harmony, a department of the Ministry of Reason, established under the authority of the following Fundamental Orders:

• FO2.   Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
• FO4.   Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
• FO8.   Balance personal rights with social duties.
• FO9.   Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
• FO10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

Maintaining Consistency
The Bureau of Harmony was founded to uphold the sacred precedent set during the Adjustment that humankind would no longer abide the suffering caused by irrational and reactionary social decision-making. Working tirelessly to ensure a sustainable lifestyle for all citizens present and future, the Bureau of Harmony conducts research and develops plans so that necessities are plentiful, public life is enriched, and each individual feels empowered to fully manifest her potential. Whether public works or public art, every project undertaken is first rigorously surveyed for environmental impact and carefully situated for maximal social access. “Be not a cancer” is merely a starting point; together, we will put right the sins of our (far distant) fathers.
